Job Opportunity

Position: Travel RN - Progressive Care Unit

Shift Information

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 345
• Magnet Designation: 3-time recipient
• Staff Float Pool: Approximately 80 staff members
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 for both day and night shifts, varies between units
• Types of Equipment: Various medical equipment
• Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Meditech
• Chemo Certification (ability to schedule on the Oncology unit)

Typical Procedures Performed

The unit performs a variety of procedures, primarily focused on a large cardiac population. Staff may float to all inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units.
