Job Captain, Architecture

Summary We are looking a skilled Job Captain responsible for supporting and executing the day-to-day production of architecture construction documents for retail and/or restaurants. You will serve as a valued team member ensuring accuracy and timeliness of client projects. Responsibilities Uses AutoCAD to produce detailed architectural construction documents for multiple roll out locations Performs as the main point of contact for project drawing deliverables and consultant coordination Recognizes potential problems and recommends solutions Reports to Project Managers and collaborates within team to capture accurate information Participates in appropriate site surveys although much travel is not anticipated Reviews (with Project Manager) any adaptations needed to allow design fit within existing structure Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards and client requirements Maintains required documentation of all projects and drawings generated Ensures proper back up procedures are carried out to reduce lost data Monitors quality, accuracy and consistency of documents, details and any graphics Assists in the development of standards that will ensure document quality and accuracy Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design or comparable work experience Previous experience developing construction documents for retail and/or restaurant environments is a plus Proficiency in the application of architectural design standards, practices, techniques and concepts Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit experience is a plus Solid time management skills Strong organization skills Excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability to maintain required performance level in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines Must have exceptional standards for quality and a strong attention to detail Must be able to work autonomously, as well as within a team Location Remote – Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Irvine, CA; Miami, FL; New York, NY; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Washington, DC Estimated Compensation 72,000.00 - 105,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
