Eligible for variable total compensation of $51,072, with top earners reaching $66,099 annually. Cox Communications is looking for a Retail Sales Associate who creates memorable customer experiences and drives sales. The role includes evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, and reporting to Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Responsibilities Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs. Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention. Assist with the opening and closing of the store retail environment. Properly handle cash transactions. Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos. Support fellow sales agents when needed. Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training. May be required to work at other locations in the same geographic area. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or up to 2 years relevant work experience. Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative, solutions‑based selling. Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment. Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods to greet customers and demonstrate products. Computer literacy with aptitude for learning communication products and services. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds for stock room inventory. Preferred Some college experience focused on sales, business, or management. One year of experience in a related field (sales, retail, service industry).
