Registered Nurse

Position Details Devereux Florida provides services to children and adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral health needs who live on-site while in treatment. This Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for ensuring client care by providing medications, ensuring regular medical checkups, keeping medical files updated, communicating with clients’ families and medical staff, and supporting a therapeutic environment while ensuring the safety and well‑being of the individuals served. Salary: Starts at $32.00 – $37.30 per hour (based on education and relevant experience) Schedule: Full time; Tuesday–Saturday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Benefits and Rewards Up to 24 PTO days per year (increases with service) Up to 64 hours of sick time Low-cost medical, dental, vision Devereux Benefits 403(b) retirement plan ASCEND Tuition Program Student loan repayment assistance Payactiv: Access earned wages early Employee Assistance Program & Discounts Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Associate’s Degree or Diploma required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (strongly preferred) Board certification: Registered Nurse in the State of Florida required Other Requirements Must complete a two‑week new hire orientation class (Monday–Friday) offered in Orlando, hours approximately 9 a.m.–5 p.m. each day. 2 years of nursing experience or previous experience in another position with the DJJ, IDD, or Psychiatric population in a group home or residential facility (preferred). Must be at least 21 years old. Valid Florida driver’s license. Pass pre‑employment medical screenings: drug test, physical, TB test. Pass Level2 background screening with the State of Florida.
