Hospitalist opening | Fort Dodge, IA North-Central Iowa — Midwest Charm with Endless Opportunities65 miles from Des Moines## Position Details Full-time, permanent position Setting: Inpatient hospital medicine — open ICU with intensivist available to consult Schedule: 7 on/7 off — 15 x 12-hour shifts per month (7:00a–7:00p) Average census: 12–18 patients per day No night shifts, no call, no procedures, and no codes TeleHospitalist service for overnight coverage EMR: Epic — fully integrated across clinics and hospitals## Practice OverviewSeeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a hospital medicine program at a nonprofit regional referral center serving Fort Dodge and surrounding communities: Admitting and rounding on medical/surgical patients 18 years and older Experienced support staff including APPs, care coordinators, and RNs Specialist support including Cardiology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Nephrology, Intensivist, Emergency Medicine, Tele-Neurology, and Tele-Psychiatry Accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc.
