Position Summary Human Resources Intern Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment, supporting a variety of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, training, benefits administration, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is eager to learn maintains confidentiality and enjoys working with people. Essential Responsibilities Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Support new hire onboarding by preparing orientation materials, completing employment documentation, and coordinating onboarding schedules. Maintain employee personnel files and HR databases, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and employee documentation. Help coordinate employee training sessions, safety orientations, and professional development activities. Support benefits enrollment and employee wellness initiatives. Assist with organizing employee recognition programs, events, and engagement activities. Respond to routine employee inquiries and direct more complex questions to HR staff. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office applications. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information And Company Records. - Perform Other Administrative And HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Previous office, customer service, or internship experience is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. Familiarity with HRIS systems or applicant tracking systems is a plus. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is beneficial but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment. Occasionally walk through production areas while following all required safety procedures.
