Job Cost Analyst

AEM Solutions, LLC dba Allan Commercial Millwork seeks Job Cost Analyst (Van Alstyne, TX) Duties: Analyze material and labor cost specific to each project, ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments. Monitor and document actual and estimate reports. Stay up to date on project budgets and project spending. Examine data to help with reducing costs in all operations. Provide detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, including breakdowns of project costs, forecasts of remaining expenses, and suggesting opportunities to increase efficiency. Conduct market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or business models to Estimating Department and Shop Manager. Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks. Prepare periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs and suggest cost impact on future projects. Contribute to developing yearly operation plans, budgets, and estimating new product costs, including economic analysis. Coordination with estimation and designing team overseas. Attend job site meetings as needed. Required: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or cost analysis related position.
