Part Time Front Desk Medical ReceptionistRET Physical Therapy Specialists, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Part Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Burlington team!Pay Range: ~$18-22/HR20 Hours/Week: Mon - Fri (Flexible hours)Location: Burlington, Washington 98233ResponsibilitiesCreate a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sourcesManage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone callsReview, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next stepsKeep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visitsCollect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when neededProtect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentationQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required.Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skillsComfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheetsAbility to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalismA calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the teamConfluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
