Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptionally metrics-driven, hands-on, and process-oriented Digital Marketing Manager - Ecommerce to join our distributed growth team under a permanent, full-time remote layout open to qualified candidates based anywhere in the Philippines, Brazil, Singapore, or Malaysia. Operating as a critical player-coach reporting directly to the Co-founder, you will step up to claim absolute multi-channel P&L ownership, digital acquisition strategy, and creative performance optimization accountability across our high-traffic Australian and US storefronts. Shifting completely away from passive spreadsheet typing, basic customer support chat monitoring, or low-stakes textual copywriting, you will run an active data funnel diagnosis, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and advanced subscriber lifecycle laboratory—partnering face-to-face with an embedded remote team of specialized media buyers, user-generated content (UGC) creators, marketing coordinators, and global logistics managers. This position requires a digital commerce authority with 4+ years of e-commerce management experience who structures paid acquisition paths fluidly natively using Shopify workflows, evaluates marketing efficiency metrics cleanly inside modern ads managers, and directs automated lifecycle pipelines confidently during working hours aligned strictly with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
Key Responsibilities
- Full DTC Strategy and P&L Ownership: Command the overall marketing budget, growth roadmaps, and commercial targets for our AU and US storefronts, aggressively defending MER, CAC, blended ROAS, AOV, and LTV parameters.
- Agile Team Leadership and Coaching: Lead, mentor, and track a remote group of four marketing specialists (including media buyers and content creators), establishing weekly trading review cadences and tracking performance KPIs.
- Creative Briefing and Strategy: Personally author, audit, and deploy high-fidelity creative testing plans, briefing content creators on conversion angles, hooks, and video sequencing targets natively utilizing Shopify asset optimization goals.
- Funnel Diagnosis and Conversion Tuning: Analyze multi-tier conversion variables across GA4 and Meta/Google dashboards to uncover drop-off points, deploying targeted product page and checkout flow CRO improvements.
- Advanced Email and SMS Retention: Oversee and engineer the automated subscriber flow architecture within Klaviyo, maximizing customer retention metrics, win-back behaviors, and transactional AOV.
- Product Launch Playbook Governance: Architect and execute comprehensive end-to-end product launch sequences, controlling channel scheduling, early access lists, and post-launch revenue evaluations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a highly related commercial discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of verified professional history operating as a DTC digital marketing manager or e-commerce strategist for live physical product ecosystems.
- Mandatory Technical Toolset Fluency: Deep, practical hands-on experience navigating and configuring datasets natively inside Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads .
- Proven background leading or coaching a small squad of remote marketing specialists (such as graphic designers, copywriters, or media buyers).
- Demonstrated experience establishing KPI-led team performance guidelines, running multivariate split-testing frameworks, and driving conversion optimization metrics.
- Linguistic and Shift Parameters: Outstanding written and verbal English communication profiles, coupled with total personal availability to operate continuously during AEST business hours (9am - 5pm Brisbane time) .
- Location Context: Position operates under remote geographic guidelines open exclusively to technical marketers residing permanently within the Philippines, Brazil, Singapore, or Malaysia .
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience growing digital revenue or configuring targeted ad sets specifically for adventure gear, automotive components, or outdoor lifestyle portfolios.
- Familiarity with short-form video production trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
