And yet, we offer a value driven team-centered work environment.Culture: Employees use the Model of Success as a guide to work effectively and uphold our company values while relating with others and maintaining constructive working relationships with management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.Position Summary: Assist production welders in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment by preparing parts, feeding and removing assemblies, performing basic spot‑weld tasks under supervision, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.Essential Duties:Load, position, and clamp parts for spot welding and assist welders during setupsOperate basic spot‑weld equipment and hand tools per instruction and safety proceduresInspect welded assemblies for visible defects and remove finished parts to staging areasClean and maintain work area, consumables, and basic tooling; report equipment issuesFollow written work orders, production schedules, and quality standardsAdhere to all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on‑the‑job training providedPrior manufacturing or welding shop experience helpful but not requiredAbility to read basic work instructions, measure to tolerances, and use hand toolsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasksAble to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed; 18+ years oldPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing for long periods of time, lifting to 75 lbs, bending, and twisting stand sit, use hands to manipulate equipment.Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourKrieger Specialty Products is an equal opportunity employer.We Celebrate Who We Are!Allegion is committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
