Spot Weld Helper

Classification: Non-Exempt Employee Reports to: Production Superintendent Shift: 1st: 6:00 AM = 2:30 PM Company: Krieger Specialty Products is a leading manufacturer of special purpose doors and windows applications since 1936. Position Summary Assist production welders in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment by preparing parts, feeding and removing assemblies, performing basic spot‑weld tasks under supervision, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Essential Duties Load, position, and clamp parts for spot welding and assist welders during setups Operate basic spot‑weld equipment and hand tools per instruction and safety procedures Inspect welded assemblies for visible defects and remove finished parts to staging areas Clean and maintain work area, consumables, and basic tooling; report equipment issues Follow written work orders, production schedules, and quality standards Adhere to all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on‑the‑job training provided Prior manufacturing or welding shop experience helpful but not required Ability to read basic work instructions, measure to tolerances, and use hand tools Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks Able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed; 18+ years old Physical Demands Standing for long periods of time Lifting to 75 lbs, bending, twisting, stand sit, use hands to manipulate equipment Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
