Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in the Norristown, Pennsylvania area. This is a great opportunity for a qualified professional to support students' speech, language, and communication development while collaborating with a supportive special education team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement speech and language treatment plans based on students' individual needs and IEP goals.
- Support students with articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social communication skills.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate therapy documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, special education staff, and families to support student success.
- Assist with preparing therapy materials and implementing individualized interventions.
- Maintain compliance with district policies and applicable state regulations.

Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Must meet Pennsylvania requirements to practice as an SLPA.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
