Make a real difference in students’ lives as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position is located near Salem, NH, serving an elementary caseload and offers the chance to impact learners through meaningful engagement and support.

You’ll work in a welcoming school environment, providing individualized and small group instruction for elementary-aged students. The day runs from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, focusing mainly on small group work and co-teaching within classroom settings. Your knowledge and compassion can truly help students reach their potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience working in a school setting (strongly preferred)
• Background in supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt lessons for individualized and group instruction
• Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs, primarily in small group or co-taught classroom settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences
• Track student progress and modify instructional strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and team members regarding student development
