The Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery across data center infrastructure, IT operations, systems migrations, networking, and security initiatives. This individual will partner with technical engineering teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. This position is hybrid in Fairfax, VA, requiring 3–4 days onsite per week!Responsibilities of the Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager:Lead end-to-end project management and delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure initiatives, including data center operations, systems migrations, networking, and security projectsManage the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and project closureOversee infrastructure projects involving data center technologies, wireless access points (WAPs), fiber connectivity, network circuits, and enterprise systemsCoordinate with infrastructure engineers, IT operations, network teams, security personnel, and business stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverablesManage external technology vendors, data center service providers, and implementation partners to ensure project milestones and commitments are metDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, status reports, risk registers, requirements documentation, and project delivery artifactsFacilitate regular project status meetings, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional coordination sessionsProvide executive-level project updates covering progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategiesIdentify project risks, technical dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery challenges while proactively driving resolutionSupport post-implementation stabilization and hypercare activities following enterprise systems migrationsEstablish repeatable project management processes, documentation standards, and delivery methodologiesUtilize ClickUp or similar project management platforms to track tasks, milestones, dependencies, and project progressApply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies based on project requirementsPartner with the Project Management Office (PMO) to maintain project governance, reporting standards, and delivery consistencyTranslate complex technical project information into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadershipQualifications for the Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager:7+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, technology implementation, or systems migration projectsStrong experience managing projects involving data center infrastructure, IT operations, networking, or enterprise systemsDemonstrated experience leading projects through the full project delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and post-production supportExperience coordinating with infrastructure engineers, network teams, security teams, and technical vendorsStrong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure concepts including data centers, network connectivity, fiber circuits, wireless networking, and systems migrationsExperience managing third-party vendors, implementation partners, project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverablesProven ability to gather requirements, develop project documentation, and establish repeatable delivery processesExperience developing project plans, risk registers, status reports, requirements documentation, and executive presentationsStrong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery modelsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present technical project updates to executive leadershipStrong organizational, problem-solving, and risk management capabilitiesAbility to independently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a collaborative and customer-focused approachPreferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience managing data center infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or modernization initiativesExperience supporting post-migration hypercare, operational stabilization, and production support transitionsExperience with ClickUp or similar project and portfolio management toolsScrum Master, Agile, or Product Owner training or certificationExperience working within an established Project Management Office (PMO)Experience managing infrastructure projects involving wireless access points, fiber connectivity, network circuits, and enterprise security systemsExperience presenting project risks, delivery progress, and technical recommendations to senior executivesCompensation for the Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager includes:Salary: $140,000 -
