Benefits include:Medical, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (vacation, holidays and sick days) and Medical Paid Time OffRetirement Plans (401K with up to 6% match)Earned Quarterly Bonus ProgramEducation Reimbursement ProgramDiscount for medically necessary procedures performed at Idaho Falls Community Hospital and Mountain View HospitalPlease note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides basic nursing care that includes actions that meet psychosocial needs and communication needs within the nursing assistant's scope of practice.Serves as department receptionist, receiving and transmitting messages (personal, telephone, computer) or inquiries to the appropriate destination.Performs other general administrative duties as required (e.g., emails, filing, ordering supplies, etc.).Responsible for (or assists with) data input using EMR, staffing and charge capture systems, electronic bed board, charge entry and charge reconciliation.Performs stocking of the nurse servers in patient rooms and specialty carts or areas on a routine basis.Ensures that patient daily hygiene needs are met (i.e., bathing, brushing teeth, changing of bed linen, etc.) under the direction of the bedside RN.Demonstrates ability to handle patients safely and utilizes proper body mechanics and techniques; uses gait belt with transfer of fall risk patientsAssists in maintenance of equipment as needed.Transport patients, blood, specimens, and other items as needed.Notifies appropriate licensed personnel when patient complains of pain and when vital signs, or intake and output are less than or greater than acceptable ranges.ABOUT IDAHO FALLS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL:At Idaho Falls Community Hospital, helping our community get better is our number one priority. Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program. Current unencumbered CNA certification. Current BLS.Experience: PreferredEquipment/Technology: Basic computer and typing skills. Operate vital sign monitoring devices, EKG and manual B/P equipment and use a glucometer.Language/Communication: Has the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with many different people (patients, families, visitors, members of the interdisciplinary team and others).Mathematical Skills: Basic math.
