Registered Nurse – Lactation Consultant

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a compassionate Registered Nurse – Lactation Consultant to support military families at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Help new mothers and their babies thrive through education, encouragement, and specialized lactation support.

Position Highlights

Full-time opportunity
Schedule based on clinical needs (40hrs. per wk)

Position Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
Associate Degree in Nursing or higher from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. jurisdiction
1 year of RN experience within the last 2 years
1 year of Lactation Consultant experience OR 1,000-hour clinical internship
Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive breastfeeding assessments and support
Educate mothers and families on lactation and newborn care
Conduct bedside lactation rounds
Assist patients experiencing breastfeeding challenges
Coordinate inpatient and outpatient lactation services
