Smile Builderz is a well-established private multi-specialty dental practice located in Lancaster County, PA. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our team. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a strong focus on pediatric dentistry.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients.
• Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose oral health issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and discuss them with patients and their parents or guardians.
• Administer preventative dental services, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and education on proper oral hygiene.
• Perform restorative dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions for pediatric patients when necessary.
• Implement effective behavior management techniques to ensure a positive and comfortable experience for young patients.
• Educate patients and their families on proper oral care practices and techniques.
• Provide emergency dental care and treatment for pediatric patients as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other dental specialists and healthcare professionals within the practice to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines.
• Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry through ongoing education and training.
• Create a warm and welcoming environment to help children feel at ease during their dental visits.

Requirements

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program.
• Active Pennsylvania dental license and pediatric dentistry specialty license.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and patience when working with children.
