As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover Patrol in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while helping staff and visitors throughout your location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site personnel and/or public visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff movement in accordance with site procedures, documenting incidents and/or concerns through required reports and communication channels.
• Support daily operations by following post orders, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and assisting with directions and general information for employees, visitors, and/or members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
