Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our Surgical Center, equipped with the latest medical technologies and a supportive team dedicated to patient wellbeing. Your primary focus will be on outpatient services, in a 5-day workweek with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel while assisting with physician overflow, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.
• Perform a range of clinically relevant procedures, such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, women's wellness checks, and colposcopies (if trained).
• Collaborate closely with a supportive medical team, benefitting from full Medical Doctor support for complex cases.
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities and leadership training programs to enhance your skills and advance your career.
• Work with healthcare technology and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC, to ensure efficient patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Medical Lifeline Hospital, you will primarily serve female patients throughout all phases of life, focusing on obstetric and gynecological health. Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant Certification is essential.
• A Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted State Medical License is required.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory with adherence to any state-specific regulations regarding booster doses.
• Strong active listening skills, critical thinking, and effective communication abilities are necessary for successful patient interactions and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of professional experience in an obstetrics and gynecology setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is highly desirable to facilitate effective patient care documentation.
• Proven ability to engage in a collaborative healthcare environment enhancing patient experience and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
