Core Responsibilities: Make and receive calls, consistently following the company’s collections call model and techniques, speaking clearly and concisely and listening effectively. Assist customers with questions about their loans and negotiate the best possible payment arrangements based on each customer’s individual circumstances. Display professionalism, tact and empathy while speaking with customers. Make recommendations to litigate when necessary, while following all state and FDCPA standards. Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts. Accurately process check-by-phone and/or electronic payments. Perform in-depth skip tracing tasks to locate borrowers. Desired Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of collections experience is required ; subprime auto loan collections is strongly preferred! A minimum of 2 years ofexperience skip tracing is required. Up-to-date knowledge of FDCPA standards and state laws. Ability to maintain composure with difficult or irate customers. Ability to simultaneously take good notes while speaking with customers. Self-motivated, takes initiative, and works well independently. Superb verbal and written communication skills – bilingual is a plus! Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word required. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Hours and Work Environment: This is an onsite position at our office located in Scottsdale, AZ. Our office consists of a small team of high performers. As part of our team, you will be entrusted to work independently and manage your own workload. Hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional Saturdays and/or overtime.
