Staff members collaborate closely with attorneys to support effective advocacy and efficient case handling. Role Description The Litigation Paralegal is a full‑time, hybrid or remote role. This position supports attorneys in litigation matters by organizing case files, managing deadlines, and coordinating communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include drafting and formatting legal documents, preparing and filing pleadings and motions, reviewing case materials, and assisting with discovery responses and document production. The paralegal will conduct legal research under attorney supervision, summarize findings, and help prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, and trials. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in case‑management systems, tracking court dates, and contributing to a collaborative and professional office environment. Qualifications Strong skills in legal document preparation, including drafting and formatting pleadings and other litigation materials. Experience with document review and case file organization, including managing discovery documents and exhibits. Ability to conduct focused legal research and summarize findings clearly for attorney review. Knowledge of pleadings and motions, including preparation, filing procedures, and court rules. Prior experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or legal department preferred. Familiarity with Ohio court systems, local rules, and litigation processes is beneficial. Proficiency with legal practice management software, Microsoft Office, and electronic filing systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff. Paralegal certificate or relevant associate/bachelor’s degree in legal studies or a related field preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
