Maintenance Technician

Job TitleTo ensure all plant processing and facilities equipment are running at optimum efficiency on a daily basis.Principal DutiesMaintain and repair processing equipment.Maintain and repair facilities equipment.Perform preventive maintenance on processing and plant equipment.Electrical troubleshooting.Mechanical troubleshooting.Communicate and document work performed.Perform all other duties as assigned or asked of by management.RequirementsMachine toolElectrical troubleshootingFacilities maintenanceDecisions and ResponsibilitiesMust demonstrate Journeyman level competence in all of the above trade skills.Manage and perform projects independently.Mentor Maintenance Mechanic 1 levels.Technical RequirementsExperience in repair of high-speed processing and paper converting equipment is preferred.License or certificates in any of the below trades is required:Electrical installations, troubleshooting and repair 24V-480VMechanical troubleshooting and repairWelding and fabricationPneumatic troubleshooting and repairMachine toolsPlumbing and pipefittingFacilities repairPhysical Requirements / Working ConditionsWill be required to lift to 10 pounds; may be required to lift up to approximately 50 pounds.Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Talk and hear over loud volumes.Must be able to frequently stand, walk and sit.Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.Must be able to work in a noisy and dusty manufacturing environment.Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.AAF International is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran.We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
