Financial Accountant

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert Reporting to Payroll & Benefits Supervisor, the Financial accountant will work on month end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll & benefits, compliance, indirect tax, and other special projects. Responsibilities and Duties The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following: Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations. Prepare payroll, benefits and other entries. Accounting support & reconciliations for the following: Intercompany. Payroll & benefits. Fixed assets & Capex. Right of use assets. Property tax and Heavy Equipment tax Input financial data in BPC. Validate sales tax exemption certificates and upload exemption certificates in OneSource. Review accrued use tax and prepare use tax correction upload files. Assist with internal and external audit. Participate in special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required and master’s degree is a plus. SAP experience is a must, Sales and Use tax and Blackline experience are preferred. Accounting certification as a certified public accountant (CPA) is a plus. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of recent work experience in a related field. Self-motivated with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and SAP. Must have the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
