Founded in 1973, Bock & Clark (an NV5 Company) is a leading national provider of commercial real estate due diligence services, including ALTA Surveys, Zoning Services, and Environmental and Property Assessments . We support single-site and complex, multi-property and multi-state transactions through our in-house professionals and a nationwide network of affiliated surveyors and contract specialists.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Director of Business Development to lead sales efforts across the Eastern Region . This is an immediate opening for an energetic, self-starting sales professional who can work independently to develop and execute an effective sales strategy within an established territory. The role is home-based and includes full benefits, company-provided equipment, and covered travel expenses.

The assigned territory includes New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine . The position reports directly to the National Director of Business Development.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong client relationships while sourcing new business
• Conduct cold outreach via phone and email to law firms, lenders, title companies, REITs, and corporations
• Utilize a consultative sales approach focused on securing end-user commitment for future service needs
• Develop a working knowledge of core service offerings and commercial real estate transactions (training provided)
• Research, plan, and execute sales trips; report outcomes and activity to management
• Manage territory strategy, scheduling, and reporting with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of consultative sales experience , including relationship building, cold calling, and travel planning
• Bachelor's degree required (business-related degree preferred)
• Experience selling professional services or other intangibles preferred
• Background selling to law firms, working in the title industry, or within commercial real estate is a plus
• Experience with group presentations is beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

The pay range for this position is $75,000- $95,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
