Job Title: Front-End Engineer (React/React Native)

Location: Remote (Anywhere in LATAM - works PST)


About the Role:
Our client, a rapidly growing leader in telemedicine and virtual care, is looking to bring on a talented Front-End Engineer to support the evolution of their digital healthcare platform. As a key part of the front-end team, you'll help build engaging, scalable user interfaces across both web and mobile platforms using React and React Native. You'll be working alongside designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features that directly impact the patient experience.


What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and maintaining performant, reusable UI components with React and React Native
• Translating Figma designs and UX prototypes into clean, responsive code
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and mobile responsiveness
• Participating in code reviews, standups, and agile planning sessions
• Staying current with front-end trends, libraries, and best practices

What We're Looking For:

• Strong proficiency in React and React Native
• Solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript , HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with state management tools like Redux , Context API , or similar
• Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design
• Experience with API integrations and asynchronous data handling
• Strong Git and version control habits
• Comfort working in agile, fast-paced environments

Nice to Have:

• Experience with accessibility and performance optimization
• Familiarity with unit/integration testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Background in healthcare or HIPAA-compliant environments is a plus, but not neccesary
• Experience working on apps at scale (especially in a product-focused company)
