Manager - Automotive Marketing

Responsibilities Lead business development in the automotive market across the Americas. Maintain strong relationships with Microchip Business Units, represent the APG at the Chandler headquarters, and quote Microchip products to automotive customers. Support CEMs and FAEs in promoting Microchip automotive solutions to clients. Assist with trade shows, write articles, contribute to the automotive webpage, and deliver speeches at public events. Identify market requirements and influence product roadmaps to develop competitive automotive solutions. Act as the go‑to person for selected BUs to drive and streamline APG/BU exchange (BU Champion). Qualifications BSEE degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the automotive market and associated products. Experience in semiconductor sales, business development, and/or marketing. Excellent communication and client engagement skills. Self‑starter with strong initiative. Proficiency in English; foreign languages are a benefit. Other Requirements Travel time: 0% - 25%. Physical attributes: hearing, seeing, talking; works alone and works around others. Physical requirements: 80% sitting, 10% walking, 10% standing.
