About the Role:

Health Wealth Pharmacy is seeking a licensed PRN Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This is a good opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a flexible schedule while supporting a growing pharmacy operation.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Verify and review prescriptions submitted by healthcare providers for accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws
• Support pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure efficient daily pharmacy operations
• Monitor and manage controlled substance dispensing in accordance with DEA regulations

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted Texas State Pharmacist License required
• Previous retail, compounding, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, pharmacology, and pharmacy law
• Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible PRN schedule
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Compounding experience is a plus
