Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Billings, Montana. Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including ongoing collection and assessment of health data, while providing supportive therapy and restorative treatment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing); current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association; ability to perform nursing care, health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, and therapy/treatment planning; medical function execution; patient referral; treatment plan monitoring; documentation; and registered nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse; Bachelors degree of Nursing; certification as appropriate for unit or service.
• Additional Information: Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift. Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines and uses resources as needed. Promotes mission, vision, and values of the organization and abides by service behavior standards.
