NICU RN Nurse Manager

Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with a Houston Healthcare Organization that is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time NICU RN Nurse Manager. This organization has a leadership team of visionaries among the best in the business and a focus on a commitment to quality service to its patients.

The NICU Nurse Manager supports the Director in overseeing daily operations, clinical quality, and staff performance within the NICU. This role promotes high-quality, patient-centered nursing care through effective leadership, continuous performance improvement, and ongoing evaluation of clinical practices. The Nurse Manager provides hands-on clinical and operational support to the nursing team and assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care across Women's Services units.

Key Responsibilities

• Support departmental operations in alignment with hospital mission, vision, and values
• Assist with performance improvement and quality initiatives
• Ensure nursing care follows the nursing process and quality standards
• Provide clinical leadership and support to NICU nursing staff
• Assist with staffing, planning, and evaluation of patient care

Qualifications

• 2+ years NICU experience required
• Recent (within 1 year) acute care NICU leadership experience (Level III or IV required)
• 2+ years management or Charge Nurse experience
• BSN required
• Active Texas RN license or compact license (TX license within 60 days if compact)
• BLS (AHA) required

Hourly & Benefits:

• Days, Nights, & Evening Shifts Available
• Competitive Hourly ($47-$60 based on experience)
