Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts as assigned; no block scheduling available. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 with dedicated support staff including nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries on night shift.

Highlights:

• High-acuity medical/surgical trauma floor with diverse and challenging case mix
• Patient population includes surgical trauma, gunshot wounds, and spinal cord injuries (quadriplegic and paraplegic patients)
• EPIC electronic medical records system in use
• Comprehensive handoff process with ED nurses and admitting unit for continuity of care
• Collaborative environment with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and administrative support
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical/surgical trauma or related specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts; no requests for time off during contract period
