Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Float Pool – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment to all PCU/IMCU units with cardiac patient populations. Patient ratio 1:3-4. Limited time-off requests during assignment period.

Highlights:

• Float to progressive care and intermediate care units specializing in cardiac populations
• Manage diverse cardiac cases including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within units for lower acuity patients
• EPIC electronic medical records system in use
• Work in a large, acute care medical center environment

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent progressive care or intermediate care nursing experience
• Previous experience in a similar-sized acute care facility required
• Strong cardiac nursing skills and familiarity with cardiac drip management
• Professional badge photo required upon hire
