Job Opportunity – Medical-Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 38-bed unit with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• Specialty focus on geriatric patients (age 65+) with trauma, orthopedic trauma, fall-related injuries, fractures, and motor vehicle collision recovery
• Acute care environment managing heparin drips and comprehensive medication administration protocols
• EPIC EMR system utilized for documentation and patient care coordination
• Collaborative care model emphasizing family communication and involvement in patient recovery plans
• Focus on evidence-based practices including hospital-acquired delirium prevention, early mobility initiatives, HAPI prevention, and falls prevention strategies
• Access to specialty equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Documented medical-telemetry experience with completed skills checklist
• Experience in geriatrics, trauma, and/or orthopedic trauma settings
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and acute medication management
• Strong communication skills for effective family engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration
