Accounting Technician

Position Summary This is a Non‑appropriated Fund (NAF) position assigned to the Resource Management Office at Joint‑Base Charleston. It is a regular full‑time role with a continuous schedule of at least 35 hours per week. Qualifications At least two years of accounting experience or nine accredited semester hours in accounting or finance. Comprehensive knowledge of fund accounting methods, procedures, and techniques used in the Air Force Services Financial Management System (AFSFMS) for diversified activities. Ability to interpret financial reports and apply regulations, guides, and precedents in a variety of accounting situations. Proficient computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong written communication skills for preparing reports.
