Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to play a key role within a growing accounting team. This position is responsible for supporting accurate and timely financial operations across multiple locations while working with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have experience across a broad range of accounting functions, including reconciliations, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage weekly cash flow forecasts across multiple locations
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities , including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounting processes related to payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue
- Ensure accurate and timely regulatory and government reporting
- Assist with collections efforts on outstanding receivables
- Review and verify accounts payable disbursements
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
- Support and contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Prepare documentation and schedules for external audits and collaborate with auditors
- Complete year-end tax-related reporting and apportionment tasks
- Participate in special projects and additional assignments as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in a senior-level accounting or similar role
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience handling multi-site accounting operations is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in financial analysis and reconciliations
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Experience working with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
