Senior Accountant

Full Time, In- Office Position, Full Benefits Salary: $80,000 per year Join One of the Fastest-Growing Home Service Companies in the Southeast Fix-It 24/7 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Charleston, South Carolina. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, and wants to be part of a company experiencing rapid growth. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. What You'll Do: Perform month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries Analyze financial statements and identify trends or discrepancies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts Support internal and external audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support business decisions Support multi-location accounting functions as needed What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Staff or Senior Accountant role Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accounting in the home services, construction, or trades industry Experience with Sage Intacct or QuickBooks Experience with Service Titan (preferred but not required) CPA or CPA candidate (preferred but not required) Multi‑entity or multi‑location accounting experience What We Offer: Competitive salary of $80,000 per year Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Life insurance Stable, growing company with advancement potential Why Fix-It 24/7?
