Staff Accountant

A well-established and growing company in the construction industry is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be responsible for full-cycle accounting and will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. Responsibilities Handle full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor accounts, and balance sheet accounts Support job costing and construction-related accounting processes Assist with financial reporting and provide accounting support to the CFO Maintain accurate accounting records and support process improvements as the company continues to grow Partner with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate accounting information Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Construction, project-based, or job costing experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills 75 Port City Landing, Suite 110 Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 #J-18808-Ljbffr
