Senior Accounting Analyst

Our client is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join their finance team as a Senior Accounting Analyst. This role is designed for someone with an interest in growing and building a long-term career in accounting. Our client is searching for an accounting professional with a demonstrated ability to assist with the month-end close process and in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements. Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills will be essential to ensure company standards are achieved safely. Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities Prepare month-end journal entries and post in Oracle Assist in month-end inventory analysis Prepare account reconciliations Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly disclosures in accordance with bank and bond indenture requirements Support forecasting and budgeting requirements Provide account analyses, ad hoc analyses for management, and accounting research, as required Participate in process improvement initiatives across the accounting function Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required 3-5 years of experience working with month-end accounting closings and the preparation of financial statements for a large company or in public accounting CPA required Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management Strong problem solving and analytical skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Strong communication skills and willing to collaborate across the organization Self-starter who looks for opportunities to improve processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience working in an ERP system (Oracle preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
