Our established, locally owned CPA firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team. We are a small, client-focused practice that values professionalism, teamwork, and providing exceptional service to individuals and closely held businesses.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit tax returns
- Perform tax planning and research
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters
- Assist with IRS and state tax correspondence
- Review work prepared by staff and provide guidance as needed
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation
- Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
