Litigation Associate

A Top National firm is seeking a motivated and talented Litigation Associate with a minimum of two years of litigation experience to join their growing litigation practice in their Denver office. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload with a particular focus on medical malpractice and employment litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills and be eager to take on significant responsibility in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Represent healthcare providers, hospitals, employers, and other clients in medical malpractice and employment-related disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues.
• Manage and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Colorado license and in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling medical malpractice and/or employment litigation matters preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience managing discovery and drafting substantive motions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to client service and professional excellence.
