Vitreoretinal Surgeon – Virginia Eye Consultants
Virginia Eye Consultants is seeking a Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join our multi-subspecialty team in Coastal Virginia!
About the Practice: With over 60 years of world-class specialty eye care, Virginia Eye Consultants is nationally recognized for excellence in surgery, research, and teaching. Our team includes 17 MDs, 7 ODs, and 2 PAs across all adult subspecialties. We offer:

- Industry-leading 5-room ophthalmic-only ASC
- Full-time clinical research department
- Teaching affiliation with the local ophthalmology residency program
About the Position:
- Immediate surgical volume: cataract and vitreoretinal procedures including retinal detachment repair, macular surgery, diabetic eye disease, and complex posterior segment cases
- Established referral base with immediate clinic and OR access
- 1:3 months call rotation (ODs take first call)
- Mentorship and collaboration with nationally recognized subspecialists
- Teaching, research, and leadership opportunities available
- Full integration into a busy, collaborative, multi-subspecialty team
