About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (QP2) Department, with a focus on leading a team to support the expansion of its immunology pipeline. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with deep disease area knowledge in immunology, capable of driving model-informed decision-making to gain a competitive advantage. This role involves overseeing regulatory submissions, pediatric and life-cycle management strategies, and developing translational strategies for the optimal use of biomarkers. The Executive Director will also be responsible for leading a team of QP2 scientists, providing scientific and operational oversight, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Ph.D., PharmD, or equivalent degree, with at least 12 years of experience in a similar role within pharmaceutical drug development or regulatory. A strong background in biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacometrics, or a related field is required, along with a proven track record in regulatory strategies in immunology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing quantitative strategies for drug development, a strong understanding of the global regulatory landscape, and the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in written and verbal communication, as well as problem-solving and planning, is essential. Preferred skills include expertise in mechanistic modeling and population PK/PKPD analyses, and a recognized leadership role in the field of quantitative pharmacology.
