Payroll Coordinator

Location: Orlando, FL 32827 Hybrid
Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Duration: 3 Months

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and review employee timesheets and payroll data to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information before payroll processing.

• Verify the accuracy of employee data entered in UKG WFM .

• Ensure data integrity during payroll system integration.

• Process payroll accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

• Calculate and enter payroll adjustments, bonuses, deductions, and other changes.

• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and processing issues.

• Review payroll outputs for accuracy, including tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions.

• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and address payroll-related concerns.

• Work with the Payroll Manager and payroll team to document processes and identify control gaps or inefficient procedures.

• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase payroll accuracy and efficiency.

• Follow established payroll procedures and escalate potential compliance issues related to federal, state, and local payroll requirements.

• Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.

• Assist with payroll audits and provide supporting documentation when requested.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to pass the required background check to obtain an Airport Badge.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug screening during employment.

Preferred

• Experience with payroll processing.

• Experience with Oracle and/or UKG Pro/UKG WFM .

• Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and wage-and-hour requirements.

• Additional education or coursework in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
