Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate Attorney - Midlevel. The position is with a Boston-based litigation firm, seeking a mid-level associate (at least 3 years’ experience) with strong civil litigation experience, particularly in medical malpractice and trial work. This role provides meaningful responsibility from day one, with opportunities to handle depositions, draft motions, manage discovery, and participate in trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, and assist with trial preparation.
• Provide strategic input on case strategy and perform legal research.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, colleagues, and experts.
• Billable hour requirement: 2,000 hours .

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
• At least 3 years of civil litigation experience in Massachusetts state and federal courts.
• Trial experience and medical malpractice exposure strongly preferred.
• Skilled in depositions, motion practice, and case management.
• Self-starter with strong advocacy, research, and writing abilities.
