Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate attorney with experience in medical malpractice and personal injury to join their litigation team in Boston, MA. The role involves managing cases from intake through resolution, conducting investigations, and collaborating with expert witnesses to develop case strategies. Duties Manage a caseload of medical malpractice and personal injury matters. Conduct case investigations and review medical records. Consult with expert witnesses and develop case strategies. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents. Manage all phases of discovery, including e-discovery. Take and defend depositions. Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and other proceedings. Coordinate and supervise outside experts. Conduct legal research and analyze evidence. Ensure compliance with state and federal litigation requirements. Collaborate with the litigation team to deliver exceptional client service. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active admission in good standing in MA. Minimum of two years of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation experience. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active admission in good standing in MA. Skills Strong research, analytical, and writing skills. Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage client relationships effectively.
