Monitor Technician, DOU, Full-Time, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AMProvides cardiac monitoring for patients of assigned department under the direction of the RN and Physician. Performs duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care.Required SkillsWritten and verbal communication, interpersonal skillsBasic organizational skillsBasic computer skillsBasic EKG interpretationDemonstrates team member abilitiesEducation and/or training related to areas of responsibilityRequired ExperienceRequired:Successful completion of EKG Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech course and/or CertificateTyping and computer skillsBasic Life Support certification from the American Heart AssociationPreferred:Basic knowledge of medical terminologyPrior hospital/healthcare experienceMinimum Salary: $21.74Maximum Salary: $36.50
