IT Business consultant Job Description You will be a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner in a global, highly complex system landscape with a passion to drive significant business outcomes through technical skills and business acumen in Configure, Price and Quote IT domain. Part of HPE Global IT you will provide best in class solutions to enable HPE's customers and partners to do business seamlessly with HPE, focusing on regular business engagement and incorporating AI solutions to business requirements. How you’ll make your mark Drive business relationships and engage in understanding business processes to provide solutions on Java-based Configuration, Quoting & pricing applications integrated with S4 HANA order management system. Foster an environment that drives performance and quality in customer satisfaction, knowledge creation, technical expertise, and process improvement. Ensure IT solutions meet or exceed business expectations or given requirements. Analyze and commit deliverables for requirements on various projects. Provide solutions and prepare functional design for the given applications. Drive development by engaging development teams to deliver deliverables in a timely fashion. Pay strong attention to detail with the ability to identify gaps and provide sustainable solutions. Serve as subject matter expert on given applications and support business processes. Recommend and implement end‑to‑end life cycle of projects by working closely with IT and Business teams. Proficiency in business modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Proven track record in large‑scale customer‑facing applications, projects, and enterprise systems. About You At least 10+ years of experience in the field or a related area and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Strong knowledge and experience in CPQ domain, including business process of configuration applications and integrated fabric. Excellent business partner relationships and rapport. 10+ years’ experience as a business analyst with strong understanding of Java and related technologies. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, proactive and go‑getter. Good grasp of industry best practices in enterprise‑class software development and agile methodology (Jira). Experience with ServiceNow, ITSM Processes, and New Relic Application is a plus. Knowledge in middleware integration such as Addison, Kafka, SDI, SnapLogic is a plus. Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle complex business issues. Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with several business implementation teams. Use deep business knowledge and business acumen to drive improvements in IT engagement for major initiatives. Influence overall IT and business planning interlock. Communicate specific IT decisions relevant to the business implementation teams. Represent the needs of the business, function, or geography during implementation projects. Communicate standard IT solutions to meet the needs of the business, function, geography or organization. Participate in selected IT projects to ensure that business, function, and geography customers receive sufficient and timely communications. Follow defined processes and implement process changes as needed to meet ongoing IT objectives.
