Summary: The primary purpose of this role is to drive adoption of Corporate Data Governance procedures by working closely with Business Data Stewards. This position serves as a central hub for the organization, connecting with various business units. Responsibilities include:Building a normalized and useful Enterprise Business GlossaryDeveloping common business data taxonomyGuiding data stewards in creating data quality monitoring projectsTracking and coordinating resolution of enterprise-level data quality issuesManaging the critical data asset and elements repository in alignment with industry-standard finance data modelsBachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Management required; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 12 years of experience in data governance and managementAt least 5 years of experience in data stewardship, preferably within a banking or financial institutionExperience writing and maintaining data governance processes, standards, and best practicesProven success working with internal stakeholders to run a data governance programExtensive experience with Data Governance and Management solutions, preferably AtaccamaTechnical background to collaborate effectively with Data Platform and Data Engineering teams to enhance and mature the Data Governance toolkitStrong knowledge of data management concepts including metadata, data quality, data lineage, data archival, data retention, data sharing, and sensitive data handlingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly to all management levelsExperience creating processes, procedures, and job aids for enterprise rolloutFamiliarity with risk and control frameworksExperience working with internal and external auditorsKnowledge of Reference/Master Data management efforts is a plusWorking Place: Tysons, Virginia, United StatesCompany: ESR Healthcare
