Ryder is Now Hiring OTR CDL-A Truck Drivers in Hartford, CT Average $1,850 per Week - $4,000 Loyalty Bonus Paid Training - $1,000 Safety Bonus \n

• Average $1,850 per week
\n
• Loyalty Bonus : Pays you $2,000 at 6 months and $2,000 at 1 year
\n
• Safety Bonus : Pays you $250 four times a year, every quarter
\n
• Route: OTR - home at least every other weekend
\n
• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
\n
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)
\n

• Start time: Varies
\n
• Deliver Solo from North Dakota to Texas and all states east, as well as Canada
\n
• Tractor Type: Sleepers with APUs
\n
• Trailer Type: Dry Van and Conestoga experience preferred
\n
• Companion Policy: Bring a person and/or pet on the road with you!
\n
• Freight Type: Touch - Commercial and Residential Garage Doors
\n
• Hand-unloading is required for commercial and residential garage doors
\n
• Load Securement: Strapping
\n
• Endorsements: Passport - within 90 days of hire 
\n

• Drivers are the Captain — you make safety decisions, and your job is protected
\n
• Bring a person and/or pet on the road with you
\n
• 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year

• 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to specific eligibility criteria, including work tenure)

• Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance & company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

• Valid Class A CDL
\n
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years
\n
• Minimum 21 years of age
\n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
\n
