Regional CDL-A Truck Driver - Home Weekly Reset

Job Description

10-4 Logistics USA is recruiting CDL-A Regional Drivers based in Hamden, CT to join a Northeast regional fleet offering consistent weekly home time, mileage-based pay, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Drivers typically operate regional freight from Northern North Carolina through New England and as far west as Eastern Ohio, with home time on Saturday and Sunday.

$4,000 sign-on bonus
$0.80–$0.85 per mile
Home Saturday and Sunday for a 34-hour reset
Average 1,500 miles per week, depending on hours and freight availability
Average length of haul approximately 400 miles
Up to $0.03 per mile performance bonus (up to 3 CPM) based on safety, mileage, and productivity
Additional stop pay, detention pay, and Long Island delivery pay
Late-model equipment: 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth tractors
Benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off
Top regional drivers on this fleet can earn up to $1,850 weekly
Additional pay structure: $20 for the first stop, $35 for the second stop, $50 for the third stop and beyond; $65 for Long Island deliveries; detention pay of $12.50 per hour after 2 hours

Lane details

Routes include a mix of live loads and preloaded trailers throughout the Northeast regional network.
Primary running area is generally Virginia to Maine, with frequent freight lanes from Northern North Carolina up to Maine and as far west as Eastern Ohio.
Occasional assignments outside the primary area may be used to maximize miles while preserving weekly reset time.
Drivers who opt to remain out instead of returning home for their reset may have opportunities to run additional weekend freight for extra miles and pay.
Willingness to operate in New York City is advantageous but not required.
Position is based in Hamden, CT, and supports consistent regional operations from this location.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum three months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Must meet U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) safety and medical requirements
Willingness to handle live loads and preloaded trailer freight
