Clinical Coordinator RN Location: RWJ New Brunswick, NJ Department: Perioperative Support Services Shift: Day Employment type: Full-Time, Salaried Salary range: $107,990.48 - $140,387.62 per year. Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated RN Clinical Coordinator for Perioperative Services at the New Brunswick campus. The Coordinator monitors implant usage, maintains the UDI tracker, ensures accurate patient records, partners with revenue integrity and materials management, and supports clinical billing functions. Qualifications Required : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred : Master of Science in Nursing Experience in clinical documentation 2-5 years clinical documentation experience EPIC experience Allied health or anesthesia experience Scheduling Requirements Full-time Day shift Essential Functions Manage Billing Integrity for Main OR Adult, BMSCH PEDS OR, ASC, & Endoscopy, PACU and Anesthesia. Supervise the OR Billing office: training, scheduling and ADP. Preference Card Management: assist the Pref. Card Coordinator, surgeons and OR leaders. Clinical Documentation Review: maintain database, perform chart audits, and collaborate with Service Line Managers. Communication/Education: develop and implement documentation education for the nursing staff. Business Operations: manage the OR Billing Staff, track statistical reports, coordinate file data and coordinate with materials and finance revenue cycle experts. Daily Bill Only Verification. Insurance audits and RIMP report requests. Tissue PI quarterly reporting. Other Duties Perform additional duties as assigned and required to support clinical operations, documentation, billing and education within the peri‑operative environment.
